The Impreza is turning 30, and to mark the special occasion, Subaru Australia is launching a special edition model, equipped with exclusive STI and genuine accessories. Priced at $36,290 plus on-roads, the AWD S-Edition will feature a range of styling upgrades.
Available in limited numbers, the S-Edition comprises all the specification available in the Impreza Hatch 2.0i-S, with the added bonus of STI ENKEI 18-inch alloy wheels, STI front under spoiler, STI side under spoiler, sports grille, and exclusive badging.
Featuring black interior trim and available in four paint colours – Pure Red, Crystal White, Crystal Black Silica and Magnetite Grey – the limited special edition Subaru Impreza will also feature a sleek STI shift knob.
“Impreza has been an important part of the Subaru family for 30 years now, and this new special edition is our way of celebrating that legacy,” Subaru Australia managing director Blair Read said.
“The added styling enhancements provide enhanced sports styling to match the Impreza’s symmetrical all-wheel drive capability.”
The Subaru Impreza has been a favourite among Aussie enthusiasts since its introduction to the market in 1993. The model has gained a reputation for its outstanding drivability, reliability, and safety features, and has earned numerous accolades over the years.
Since its introduction, almost 170,000 have been sold in Australia, with the AWD S-Edition marking the last hurrah of the current Impreza, ahead of the launch of a new generation model in the future.
