While it feels like the Cadillac Lyriq is still a concept car, it has indeed started reaching the hands of customers and with it now entering its second year of production, numerous updates have been made to it.

The updated Lyriq range consists of the entry-level Tech, the mid-range Luxury, and the flagship Sport variant. Plenty of impressive features come as standard on the Lyriq Tech. These include the EV’s flashy 33-inch curved dashboard screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the Cadillac Smart System suite of safety and driver-assistance technologies, reclining seats in the second row, and a fixed glass roof.

Those looking for some added creature comforts and technology can opt for the Luxury. It adds things like rain-sensing wipers, a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, optional ventilated front seats, optional heated rear seats, illuminated door handles, distinctive 22-inch wheels, a black-painted roof, a Nappa leather interior package, and the availability of Super Cruise. There is also a light bar in the roof spoiler and an ambient lighting system in the cabin.

Features of the Sport variant are fitting of its name. They include new cornering lights up front, darker exterior trim and unique 20-inch wheels or optional 22-inch wheels.

No less than eight exterior colors are now also available for the Lyriq. These consist of Argent Silver Metallic, Opulent Blue Metallic, Crystal White Tricoat, Stellar Black Metallic, Radiant Red Tintcoat, Celestial Metallic, Nimbus Metallic, and Emerald Lake Metallic.

No mechanical changes have been made to the electric SUV. However, the range of the rear-wheel drive model has dropped from 312 miles (502 km) to 308 miles (495 km) as estimated by GM while the range of all-wheel drive model has dropped to 307 miles (494 km).

Cadillac has not yet announced full pricing details for the 2024 Lyriq.
